STAYCATIONS

Recently I've been working with the STAYCATIONS on their PR campaign, launching their new singles. As part of this, we did a band shoot, which was my photo of the week a couple of weeks ago, filming their live session at BBC Introducing Cambridge and shooting a gig where they supported High Tyde.

For the band shoot, we went round Cambridge to locations that suited the band, going for a more filmic look. These were featured on their Facebook and Instagram:

Both of these shots were edited using the Nik Collection to emulate the film look, which goes with the style of the band

I provided over 100 high quality images that they used for their national press release

This shot was used for their cover photo

I also filmed them performing two of their new singles, Birthday & You Know It, at BBC Cambridgeshire and posted a few photos on Facebook from the session. They also did a live stream to show behind the scenes

Both were multicam shoots, filmed on my D5100 with a 11-16mm to get the wide shots, my D750 with a 70-200mm or a 50mm to get the close ups, then a few static iPhone shots. They were videoed over the multiple takes, and for the second one there were 11 angles at once at points; the only issue was syncing them all up
