This was a quick promotional piece for Nasu Enzuru‘s production of Alice in Wonderland with the aim of raising the profile of the show and bringing in more audience. It got a great response with hundreds of views in the first few days after uploading.
The interview segments were a simple one camera set up as I knew I would be editing in cutaways to sustain the viewer’s interest. The pieces to camera were shot with my 35mm at F1.8 with one off-camera light and for the audio a smartLav. The backing track was also recorded with the smartLav and then slowed to fill the video length.
