Alarm Clock

Published 13th May 2016

For one of my modules in first year, I had to program an alarm clock on an Arduino board that we were given and as part of it make a video to demonstrate what it did. The video wasn't worth any marks but I thought I'd go the extra mile with the production value with blue screening, drone shots and a cameo from Michael Caine...

This wouldn't have been possible without Sam Rogers, for not only starring in it but also flying his drone to add the slightly gratuitous aerial shot in the quarry.

It was shot in an afternoon and edited the same evening mostly, with the blue screen taking up most of time rendering it out. Despite it being a joke, I still recorded dual system audio using the Rode NTG2 into the Zoom H4n and produced it all at 1080 50p.
